We are pleased to announce the programme of the BPSE Summer Festival Series, which will take place at the newly refurbished Regent Hall, 275 Oxford Street, London (W1C 2DJ), across July and August this year.
The month of August 2016 saw the Salvation Army’s Regent Hall, a building opened in 1882, receive the first part of its latest refurbishment. The famously over-lively acoustic has been tamed by re-surfacing large areas, adding corrugated wall coverings and placing curtains over the glass screened area. This gives a bloom to the sound but still enables the performer to use an effective pianissimo!
The new lighting rig is state of the art and with the addition of a new sound system, the building, as well as being a thriving church, is a first class venue for music.
Entry to all concerts is free with a collection.
