BPSE Intercollegiate Competition

The BEETHOVEN (SENIOR) INTERCOLLEGIATE PIANO COMPETITION 2pm – 9pm
preceded at 11.30am – 12.30pm by the BPSE AGM

Each candidate nominated by eight UK music colleges performs a compulsory Beethoven Bagatelle and Beethoven Sonata of Variation set of their choice.

Orpheus and Bacchus

Orpheus and Bacchus Music Festival

The festival’s 2006 season ends with seven concerts – Michel Lethiec performs two great clarinet quintets. David Geringas with Ian Fountain performs the complete Beethoven Sonatas. The remaining concerts are undertaken by the Orpheus and Bacchus Ensemble.

The London Schubert Players String Orchestra

The London Schubert Players is a chamber orchestra founded by the pianist Anda Anastasescu in 1989 as the orchestra-in-residence of the French Institute in London, and showcasing the cream of international young talent.
