BPSE Chamber Music Masterclass and Competition

Professor Rohan de Saram, internationally renowned cellist, gives two days of masterclasses in Beethoven’s chamber music for violin and piano and cello and piano duos.

Rohan de Saram is also the Adjudicator in the Chamber Music Competition on 31 May at 6pm.

First prize winner receives £400, a consultation lesson with Gwyneth George and a concert in the BPSE 2012-2013 series.

Both the Masterclass and the Competition are open to the public.
May 28th: daytime masterclass 10:30am-3:30pm
May 29th: daytime masterclass 10:30am-3:30pm

Chamber Music Competition (Free Entrance) at 6pm on 31 May

The fee for the Chamber Music Masterclass is £60 per Duo (violin/piano, cello/piano)

St Martin’s Chamber Music Competition 2012

The competition embodies St Martin’s commitment to the discovery, nurture and promotion of new and emerging musical talent and continues a long history of musical excellence and artistic contribution at the heart of London. With the support of Making Music, the competition is able to offer winners the opportunity to establish and develop a performance profile throughout the UK.
